My Brother’s Birthday Gifts

As I mentioned in my last post, my younger brother’s birthday is coming up near the end of April, and I have a couple videogames here that I will be sending to him as birthday presents. These games aren’t too rare and they aren’t too expensive, but I know he’ll enjoy them.

The games I’m sending him are: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Xbox 360), Smash Court Tennis 3 (Xbox 360), Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition (Xbox 360), Shadowrun (Xbox 360), and Eternal Sonata (PS3).

Oblivion is a game that my brother really wants. Well, he actually wants to play Skyrim more, but I told him that before he plays Skyrim, he should play Oblivion first. He already has Skyrim.

My brother is a big fan of professional tennis. His favorite tennis players include Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Caroline Wozniacki. And of course he loves tennis videogames and he has a couple of them, including last year’s Top Spin 4. So when I saw Smash Court Tennis 3 (an older tennis game) at Kmart, I called my brother and asked if he interested in it. He said he would love to have it.

As I mentioned before in my last blog post, Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition is a game that my brother has been wanting for awhile now. He’s starting to get into Western RPGs, and this game will probably be the first Western RPG he plays. This game not only includes the original Dragon Age Origins, but also has the Awakening expansion and all 7 DLC packs.

My brother loves playing multiplayer games with his friends on Xbox Live, so Shadowrun will be another game he can play with his buddies.

And finally, my bro is collecting some JPRGs on the current gen consoles. He already has a few of them including Star Ocean: The Last Hope, The Last Remnant, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy XIII-2, all for Xbox 360. One game that he really wants is Eternal Sonata, so I’m sending him this PS3 copy.
